If you are submitting your own artwork, please adhere to the following guidelines. If you would like us to create the final artwork for you, please see our Request Artwork page.

Artwork Guidelines

  • Camera-ready art is basically clean black & white artwork that is separated into different plates or a separate page for each color.
  • In order to know how each color or plate lines up in relationship with the complete picture, use registration marks on each plate in the same location outside of the image above & below and left & right.
  • Make sure the areas that represent each ink color are separate and distinct; let us know which plate is supposed to be what color ink.
  • Be sure to put all your artwork on a white background.
  • It should not have shading, pinholes or dust specs that you do not want to reproduce on the shirt.
  • Keep in mind that if it's in the art, it will be printed on the shirt.
  • Make sure the edges and lines are very clean. If it is not crisp in the design, it will not be crisp on the shirt. It needs to be suitable for scanning into a computer and preferably in black ink.
  • If you are sending a full-color design, please include a clean, sharp black and white lineart- and a seperate colored example.
  • Artwork generated from a computer should be in a .TIF, .JPG, .CDR, .EPS, .AI or .PDF file of 200 dpi or greater.
  • Use standard fonts that are easy to read.
  • Always print your artwork prior to sending the file on the largest size paper that you can print to check that the print does not break apart into jagged lines. The image cannot be viewed on the monitor, it must be printed for this final check before sending it to us.

  • For files over 3MB, please use www.yousendit.com to send us your files for free.
  • If you are unable to send electronically, include the artwork unfolded in an envelope marked "photos - do not bend" and mail it to us.

    Important! When sending Express Mail, please check off "no signature required".
    When mailing, artwork should be protected between two pieces of cardboard.
